Edmond Bonnaffé's notes on collectors of old France, published by A. Aubry in Paris in 1873 for antiquarians and fellow amateurs of art. The pictures are small engraved tailpieces and ornaments printed in grey-black on wide margins: paired putti flanking a blank cartouche, scrolling foliate drops, and a strapwork lozenge ready for a monogram or initial.
