An Italian edition of Crowe and Cavalcaselle's survey of Italian painting from the second to the sixteenth century, issued by Le Monnier in Florence in 1883 for scholars and students of art history. The pages captured here are blank and near-blank leaves: laid cream paper with foxing spots, faint ruled margins and show-through of type, usable as scanned paper textures and backgrounds.
