Livre de perspectiue de Iehan Cousin, senonois, maistre painctre à Paris
Jean Cousin's Livre de perspectiue, printed in Paris in 1560 by the royal mathematical printer Jean le Royer, taught linear perspective construction to painters, architects and craftsmen. The plates are fine-line engravings of wireframe solids, vaults and pavilions hung on converging ray diagrams and labelled plan, ligne terre and perspectif, useful as skeletal grids, vanishing-point fans and open lattice volumes.
