Desseins des edifices, meubles, habits, machines, et ustenciles des Chinois
Sir William Chambers's folio of Chinese buildings, furniture, dress, machines and utensils, engraved after his Canton drawings by Paul Fourdrinier and others and printed in French in London in 1757 for architects, patrons and cabinetmakers. Line engravings give measured elevations, plans and sections of pagodas, bridges and temples alongside chairs, lanterns, vessels and standing figures in dress, usable as outline ornament and silhouette stock.
