La pratica di prospettiva
A Venetian treatise on perspective drawing by Lorenzo Sirigatti, printed by Girolamo Franceschi in 1596 for painters, architects and surveyors learning to construct depth on a plane. The plates are fine-line engravings numbered by chapter, showing vaults, arched doorways, cubes, pyramids and polygons laid out with lettered vanishing points, ground lines and projection rays; useful as sparse geometric line art, construction-diagram backgrounds and lettered technical notation.
