A suite of perspective plates designed by Hans Vredeman de Vries, engraved by Jan and Lucas van Doetecum and issued by Gerard de Jode in Antwerp in 1568 for architects, masons and craftsmen. The lightly printed etchings show one-point views of arcaded courtyards and squares filled with tiered fountains, obelisks, statues and small strolling figures, supplying receding paving grids, ornamental waterworks and facade elevations.
