Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum
A two-part treatise on perspective for painters and architects, written by the Jesuit painter Andrea Pozzo and issued in Rome in 1693 with copperplates engraved largely by Vincenzo Mariotti. The plates pair fine-line elevations, plans and projection diagrams with rendered altars, cornices, pedestals and cartouche frames, giving designers construction lines, ruled grids and outline classical ornament that can be lifted as line art or reused as diagrammatic scaffolding.
