L'architettura civile : preparata sú la geometria, e ridotta alle prospettive : considerazioni pratiche
A treatise on civil architecture, perspective and stage design by Ferdinando Galli Bibiena, scenographer to the Farnese court, printed at Parma by Paolo Monti in 1711 for architects, painters and theatre designers. The engraved plates give measured elevations and sections of columns, entablatures, cornices and arches, with ruled perspective diagrams and vanishing lines left visible, supplying designers with fine-line architectural detail, classical ornament and geometric scaffolding.
