L'architettura antica descritta e dimostrata coi monumenti ... : opera divisa in tre sezioni risguardanti la storia, la teorica, e le pratiche dell' architettura egiziana, greca e romana
A three-section survey of Egyptian, Greek and Roman architecture by the Roman archaeologist and architect Luigi Canina, printed at his own press in Rome from 1830 for antiquarians, students and practising architects. The plates are fine-line engravings of measured drawings: sectional elevations of basilicas and temples, roof trusses and coffered ceilings, column capitals, rosettes and mosaic panels, with scale bars and captions, useful as precise linear ornament and structural diagrams.
