Views of the seats of noblemen and gentlemen, in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland
A topographical plate series by the architectural draughtsman John Preston Neale, issued in London by Sherwood, Neely and Jones with Thomas Moule in 1820 for landed subscribers and antiquarians. Small steel-engraved views set country houses among trees, lawns and distant hills, with fine ruled skies and tiny figures and carriages — useful for building silhouettes, foliage masses and engraved tonal gradients.
