Le Temple de malateste de Rimini : architecture de Leon Baptiste Alberti de Florence
An architectural folio of 1794, published at Foligno by Giovanni Tomassini, in which Carlo Giuseppe Fossati recorded Leon Battista Alberti's Tempio Malatestiano at Rimini for architects, antiquarians and patrons. The plates are fine-line engravings of facades, arcaded bays, plans and sections, with close studies of cornices, friezes, pilaster capitals and carved ornament that supply measured classical detail, repeating moulding bands and arch geometry for borders and rules.
