Due trattati di Benvenuto Cellini, scultore fiorentino : uno dell'oreficeria, l'altro della scultura
Benvenuto Cellini's two treatises on goldsmithing and sculpture, first written in the 1560s and reissued in 1731 by the printers Tartini and Franchi under a Florence imprint (actually Turin) for craftsmen, collectors, and antiquarians. The scanned leaves are mostly blank rag paper photographed at the gutter, showing foxing, faint stains, marbled edge-paint on the fore-edge, and title lettering ghosting through from the other side — usable as aged paper grounds, reversed type textures, and marbled-edge strips.
