Elemens de l'architecture civile, à l'usage des cavaliers du College Roial Thérésien
A French-language architecture textbook by the Jesuit mathematician Johann Baptist Izzo, printed in Vienna by Joseph Kurzböck in 1772 with plates engraved by Franz Assner, for the noble students of the Theresianum college. The folding copperplates set out the classical orders, pedestals and mouldings, arch and vault geometry, roof-truss framing, and sectioned house elevations in fine ruled line, giving designers measured architectural diagrams, lettered construction figures and repeatable cornice and column profiles.
