Views of the seats of noblemen and gentlemen, in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland
A topographical survey of British and Irish country houses drawn by John Preston Neale and issued in London by Sherwood, Neely, and Jones with Thomas Moule in 1820, sold to landowners and antiquarians. Small steel-and-copper engraved plates set each mansion or castle in parkland, with tonal skies, framing trees, grazing deer and tiny figures, plus engraved title lettering and imprint lines useful as vignette frames.
