Egyptian magic

Budge, E. A. Wallis (Ernest Alfred Wallis), Sir, 1857-1934 · 1901 · London : K. Paul, Trench, Trübner · 11 pictures

A study of amulets, spells and funerary rites by E. A. Wallis Budge of the British Museum, published in London in 1901 for English readers interested in Egyptology and occult history. The line drawings copy stelae, cippi and coffin scenes: round-topped tablets packed with hieroglyph registers, winged sun disks, mummiform gods and Horus on crocodiles, all usable as clean black outline ornament.
