A Greek-and-Latin scholarly edition of Aratus's astronomical poem Phaenomena with Theon's scholia and Eratosthenes' Catasterismi, printed in 1672 at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford for classicists and astronomers. Two large engraved planispheres show the northern and southern skies as linked constellation figures—bears, serpents, centaurs, ships—with stars marked inside them and zodiac names lettered around the rim, while the text carries small woodcut line diagrams of circles, triangles and shaded rectangles usable as spare geometric marks.
