Official Austrian commission report on the 1867 Paris Universal Exposition, issued in Vienna by Wilhelm Braumüller in 1869 for manufacturers, trade officials and design reformers. The plates shown are mounted textile samples and printed facsimiles of them: plain indigo grounds, wide stripes in purple and white, and diagonal plaid in maroon and pink, usable as flat color fields, stripe repeats and woven-texture swatches.
