Traité des couleurs pour la peinture en émail et sur la porcelaine : précédé de l'art de peindre sur l'émail, et suivi de plusieurs mémoires sur différent sujets ...
A French technical treatise on colors for painting in enamel and on porcelain, written by Didier-François d'Arclais de Montamy and published in Paris in 1765 for enamellers, porcelain decorators, and chemists working with metallic oxides. The images indexed here are the book's letterpress ornaments: small woodcut head- and tailpieces of symmetrical acanthus scrolls, tied ribbons, pendant drops, and a shield-like cartouche under a flaming urn, one signed Leron, printed in coarse black line that holds up when enlarged as a rule, spot ornament, or logo frame.
