Arthur Seymour Jennings's trade handbook on paint and colour mixing, published in London and New York in 1906 for house painters, decorators and grainers. The plates run to halftone and line cuts of paint-trade machinery — hand-cranked colour mixers with spoked flywheels and cast gear rings, drum mixers on braced iron legs, jaw crushers and stone mills, plus diagrams of nested sieves and strainers — useful as catalogue-style industrial equipment silhouettes and cast-iron ornament.
