A Jesuit antiquary's catalogue of the Roman imperial gold coins in the Farnese museum, compiled by Paolo Pedrusi and continued by Pietro Piovene, printed at Parma in 1694 for collectors and scholars of ancient coinage. Engraved plates stack paired obverses and reverses in beaded circles: laureate emperor profiles, Greek and Latin legends, seated deities, riders, altars, and a griffin drawing a chariot.
