Libellus valde doctus elegans, & vtilis, multa et varia scribendarum literarum genera complectens
A writing master's copybook by the Swiss scribe Urban Wyss, printed from woodblocks by Thiebold Berger in Strasbourg in 1564 for scribes, clerks and students learning hands. The plates give full alphabets in gothic, chancery and flourished cursive letters, flexed capitals with looped tails, and interlaced strapwork borders usable as type models, ornament strips and monogram sources.
