Opuscoli di Agostino Gerli
A collection of technical essays by the Milanese architect and engineer Agostino Gerli, printed at the royal press in Parma in 1785 with plates engraved by Giuseppe Patrini, Domenico Muzzi and Girolamo Mantelli, addressed to architects and scientific amateurs on ballooning, pavements, encaustic painting, ventilation and church building. The plates are fine outline engravings: domed sections, columned elevations, neoclassical wall panels with grotesque figures, framed landscape vignettes and fret borders.
