Oud-Nederlandsche steden in haar ontstaan, groei en ontwikkeling
A two-volume Dutch survey of the origins and growth of old Netherlandish towns, written by historian Hajo Brugmans and government architect C. H. Peters and published by A. W. Sijthoff in Leiden in 1909 for readers of local and architectural history. The plates reproduce early engraved bird's-eye town plans and building views, dense with hatched gabled rooftops, canals, bridges and lettered street names, useful as ready-made map texture, street-grid patterns and period cartographic labelling.
