I trionfi dell'architettvra nella sontuosa residenza di Monaco ...
An Italian-language account of the Munich Residenz and its architecture and decoration, written by the Marchese Ranuccio Pallavicino and printed at Augsburg by Simon Utzschneider in 1680 for court and aristocratic readers. The pictures here are letterpress ornaments: square woodcut initials filled with white-line foliate scrollwork, and triangular tailpiece vignettes massing flowers, fruit and leaves, usable as drop caps, section breaks and small textural spot art.
