A German-language laboratory manual on the fundamental operations of dye chemistry, written by Hans Eduard Fierz-David and published in Zürich in 1920 for chemistry students and industrial dye works. The plates are line-engraved sectional drawings of autoclaves, stirred pressure vessels, furnaces and pipework, giving designers hatched cut-away interiors, bolted flanges, numbered callouts and clean mechanical outlines.
