A German-language laboratory handbook on the basic operations of dye chemistry, written by Hans Eduard Fierz-David and published in Zürich by Schulthess in 1920 for chemistry students and industrial dye works. The plates are fine-line sectional drawings of autoclaves, stirred pressure vessels, coiled condensers, presses and furnace settings, with hatched and stippled cut surfaces and thin leader lines, useful as ready-made technical cross-sections and machine silhouettes.
