Veladini in Milan, reproducing paintings and drawings from the city and duchy of Milan as outline engravings for collectors, travellers and students of art. The plates are pure contour line without shading: artists' head-and-shoulders portraits in caps and ruffs, a penitent Magdalene among rocks and trees, and multi-figure religious groups with heavy drapery folds, usable as clean linework for tracing, filling or vector conversion.
