A guide to the Egyptian galleries (sculpture). With 39 plates and 46 illustrations in the text
A gallery handbook to the British Museum's Egyptian sculpture, compiled under E. A. Wallis Budge and printed for the Trustees in London in 1909 for museum visitors and students. Halftone plates photograph round-topped limestone stelae, seated and standing deities, offering scenes and dense hieroglyphic registers in raking light, giving usable silhouettes, border framing and carved-text texture.
