Guidelines for Barre Circle homestead area, Baltimore
A rehabilitation design manual for the Barre Circle urban homesteading district in Baltimore, prepared by the consultancy Land Design/Research for Maryland's Department of Housing and Community Development and aimed at owners repairing row houses. The drawings are quick pen-and-ink studies: brick facades built from ruled hatching, stoops, cornices, clipped shrubs, blank massing outlines and small block plans of sheds and yards.
