A collector's handbook to the gold, silver, and copper coinage of Great Britain and Ireland, compiled by W. Stewart Thorburn and published in London by L. U. Gill in 1888 for numismatists and dealers pricing their cabinets. The plates show coins printed in flat silver and gold inks against cream grounds, each disc keyed by a letter and joined by thin stems, with cruciform shield reverses, crowned legends, and a mottled floral endpaper usable as ready-made metallic roundels, medallion frames, and lettering rings.
