Hampshire water-colours
A topographical colour-plate album of Hampshire scenery painted by Wilfrid Ball and issued by Adam and Charles Black in London in 1913 for armchair travellers and tourists. The watercolours are loose and wet-edged, showing brick manor houses, church towers, village lanes and river banks massed in green and rust against pale skies, useful for soft landscape backgrounds and muted colour palettes.
