Handbook of chemistry and physics
A reference handbook of chemical and physical data edited by William Reed Veazey and Charles David Hodgman for the Chemical Rubber Company in Cleveland, 1913, aimed at laboratory chemists, physicists, engineers and students. The figures are plain black-line geometry diagrams — right triangles with lettered angles, a parabola on x and y axes, a circular sector with radius and arc — set on pages where reversed type shows through, giving designers stark labelled forms and ghosted text texture.
