Hand book of draughts and backgammon. The draught player's hand book
A players' manual of draughts and backgammon compiled from Joshua Sturges and George Walker, issued by H. F. Anners in Philadelphia in 1852 for American amateurs of board games. The 35 woodcuts are square eight-by-eight boards with hatched dark squares in a ruled border, scattered with ringed light and solid dark men, useful as coarse-textured grids, tokens and game diagrams.
