A gallery handbook to the Egyptian rooms issued by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1918 and printed by the Gilliss Press for museum visitors. Illustrations are grey halftone photographs of objects in the collection: painted limestone relief fragments with offering scenes and cattle, hieroglyphic inscriptions, and a coffin lid with feathered collar and crossed hands, useful as source material for profile figures, register layouts, and eroded stone texture.
