A handbook of elementary sewing
A classroom manual of hand sewing by Etta Proctor Flagg, published in Boston by Little, Brown in 1915 for teachers and pupils in elementary needlework courses. The line drawings show needles pulling thread through cloth edges, individual stitch formations, and finished articles such as a drawstring bag with a patterned band, offering sparse contour outlines, dashed seam guides, and looping thread curves usable as diagram marks or textile motifs.
