Handbook of tissue paper work
An 1885 trade handbook on tissue paper work issued by its author, C. J. Loop, in New York for home crafters and makers of paper flowers and decorations. The digitised plates here are the copy's ownership marks rather than craft diagrams: a rust-brown Smithsonian Libraries sunburst roundel with circular lettering, repeated and rotated across cream endpaper, beside a smudged rectangular date stamp \u2014 useful as seal and roundel forms, curved type on a circle, and worn ink texture.
