Weigel in 1854 for clergy, architects and antiquarians cataloguing ecclesiastical buildings and furnishings. Wood-engraved line cuts show portals, tracery windows, carved fonts with saints under canopies, capitals and crouching lions, drawn small and hatched, useful as Gothic architectural spot art and ornament reference.
