Anton Springer's Handbuch der Kunstgeschichte, a German art-history survey published in Stuttgart by Rieger in 1855 for artists, students and travellers. The illustrations are small line woodcuts: church ground plans with hatched walls, piers and apses, vault diagrams, and nave elevations of arcades and capitals, useful as clean architectural diagrams and hatching patterns.
