A 1911 handbook of ecclesiastical heraldry by E. E. Dorling, published in London by A. R. Mowbray for church decorators, painters and craftsmen. The plates are black-line shields of English sees and abbeys, showing mitres, crosses, keys, castles, lilies and vair patterning in flat solid blank, ready for use as monochrome badges, stencils or repeat motifs.
