Hieroglyphic texts from Egyptian stelae, etc
A British Museum catalogue of hieroglyphic inscriptions, begun by P. D. Scott-Moncrieff in 1911 and printed by order of the Trustees for Egyptologists reading stelae, statues and coffins. Line facsimiles trace each monument's broken outline, false doors, offering tables and rows of standing figures amid dense hieroglyph columns, giving designers clean outline glyphs and figure silhouettes for lettering and ornament.
