Hieroglyphic texts from Egyptian stelae, etc
A British Museum catalogue of hieroglyphic inscriptions on Egyptian stelae, statues and coffins, published by order of the Trustees in London from 1911 onward and compiled for Egyptologists and museum readers by P. D. Scott-Moncrieff and later I. E. S. Edwards. The plates are outline facsimile drawings of carved slabs: columns and registers of hieroglyphs, seated offering-table scenes, processions of bearers, and funerary furniture, all in clean unshaded line suited to tracing, pattern-making and ornamental lettering borders.
