Marbodei Galli poetae vetustissimi De lapidibus pretiosis enchiridion / cum scholijs Pictorij Villingensis. Eiusdem Pictorii de lapide molari carmen
A 1531 Latin lapidary printed by Christian Wechel in Paris: Marbode of Rennes's verse handbook on the medicinal and magical virtues of precious stones, annotated by Georg Pictorius of Villingen for physicians and scholarly readers. The single indexed page is the letterpress title, with a large widely spaced roman capital heading broken across lines, a centred tapering block of verse, a Roman-numeral date, and inked eighteenth-century ownership signatures — usable as a model for early printed title layout and hand-annotated flyleaves.
