Histoire de la monnaie romaine. Traduite de l'allemand par le duc de Blacas
Theodor Mommsen's history of Roman coinage, translated from German by the duc de Blacas and published by Rollin et Feuardent in Paris in 1865 for collectors and classical scholars. Line-engraved plates, some signed by L. Dardel, show obverse and reverse pairs: helmeted heads, Jupiter, charging bulls, galley prows, Dioscuri on horseback, and archaic Latin lettering usable as circular emblems and monograms.
