Histoire du costume antique d'après des études sur le modèle vivant
A study of Greek and Roman dress by Léon Heuzey, the Louvre antiquities curator who reconstructed ancient drapery by pinning cloth on live models, published in Paris by É. Champion in 1922 for archaeologists, costume historians and artists. The plates are outline drawings and tonal engravings of single standing figures in chiton, peplos, himation and toga, recording how folds hang, gather and fall; useful for clean figure silhouettes, fabric-fold reference and classical statuary profiles.
