Antonio Caetano de Sousa's genealogical history of the Portuguese royal house and the Braganza dukes, printed in Lisbon in 1735 for court, clerical and noble readers. The plates are engraved armorial headpieces signed by Debrie: crowned shields and impaled coats set in strapwork cartouches, flanked by acanthus scrolls, rosettes and dragon-like supporters above ruled plinths, useful as ornament borders and heraldic frame stock.
