An antiquarian history of the see and cathedral of Salisbury by William Dodsworth, printed locally by Brodie and Dowding in 1814 for the author and sold to subscribers and church antiquaries. The copperplate engravings mix distant exterior views under open sky with cloister perspectives, chapter-house carving studies, and measured elevations of bishops' tombs, giving designers ribbed vaulting, cusped tracery, and Gothic canopy ornament drawn in fine outline and stipple.
