An antiquarian history of Westminster Abbey by Edward Wedlake Brayley, published in London in 1818 by the artist-proprietor J. P. Neale with engravings by Armstrong, John Byfield and Elizabeth Byrne, aimed at antiquaries and architects. The plates combine line-engraved interior perspectives of fan-vaulted aisles and canopied tombs with measured elevations and sections, plus exterior views under open sky, giving designers fine outline tracery, repeatable Gothic vault patterns and clean architectural drafting.
