The history of Brighouse, Rastrick, and Hipperholme; with monorial notes on Coley, Lightcliffe, Northowram, Shelf, Fixby, Clifton and Kirklees
A local antiquarian history of Brighouse, Rastrick, Hipperholme and neighbouring West Riding townships, compiled by J. Horsfall Turner and printed for the author at Bingley in 1893 for Yorkshire subscribers and genealogists. Pen sketches show stone farmhouses, mullioned halls and churches half-buried in foliage, alongside coats of arms, seals, facsimile documents and soft crayon portraits of local worthies.
