History of the seal and flag of the state of New Hampshire
An official report on New Hampshire's state seal and flag, compiled by Otis Grant Hammond with the New Hampshire Historical Society and printed in Concord in 1916 by order of the governor and council for state record. The plates are photographs of wax and paper seal impressions, showing crowned royal arms, lion and unicorn supporters, and circular Latin legends worn to varying legibility.
