Issue 13 of a weekly craft magazine published by Hobbies Ltd in 1896 for British amateur woodworkers, fretsawyers and hobbyists, covering wood carving, bent ironwork, stamps, photography, pigeon keeping and prize competitions. The engravings mix fretwork patterns for mirror frames and hanging wall clocks with ornamental column and scroll borders and drawn display lettering, giving designers cut-out silhouette ornament, rule-and-wave dividers and period headline alphabets.
